Tattered Roses at Binders Stamp Club

For our February Stamp Club meeting, we made tattered roses. Using the Tim Holtz die, one of our members shared her version of turning these flat die cuts into beautiful three dimensional flowers to use as embellishments.
A lot of companies make similar flowers, in different sizes and shapes, so there are a lot of possibilities.
We first watched the expert making a flower and then we went to our seats and tried it ourselves. She brought us a kit with supplies to make the card posted above. Notice she is using the Cutter Bee scissors below that are Teflon coated, so nothing sticks to them....they are EK Success and they are a good thing!
This was a fun class. I will have to add the new Spellbinders flower die to my wish list....I think these would be lovely as jewelry or package decorations, in addition to embellishments on cards.

Just lovely! As clever as you are, it will be fun to see what you do once you have your own die. Love the card, especially the "imagine the possibilities".
