Gateway to the West

It seems appropriate that we enter the west through the Gateway to the West! It was a beautiful day but we do look forward to cooler weather as we continue on the trip.
Above is a shot with the wide angle lens with the sun creating a starlight effect. The front that brought the tornado to Billings, Montana apparently dumped a lot of rain in the river. As you can see, it is out of it's banks, covering up part of the sidewalk.

We enjoyed the museum that is located underground, underneath the arch....plus it was nice and cool! Looking forward to a Rocky Mountain High soon....but first we have to go "On the road again....", so "Happy Trails to you, until we meet again!" Corn, corn!

The Arch is so much fun. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Did you go up in it?
