It seems appropriate that we enter the west through the Gateway to the West! It was a beautiful day but we do look forward to cooler weather as we continue on the trip.
Above is a shot with the wide angle lens with the sun creating a starlight effect. The front that brought the tornado to Billings, Montana apparently dumped a lot of rain in the river. As you can see, it is out of it's banks, covering up part of the sidewalk.
We enjoyed the museum that is located underground, underneath the arch....plus it was nice and cool! Looking forward to a Rocky Mountain High soon....but first we have to go "On the road again....", so "Happy Trails to you, until we meet again!" Corn, corn!
I enjoy papercrafting, scrapbooking, photography, travel and sewing. My latest hobby is knitting. I have been married for 37 years to my college sweetheart and we have two grown children, two more children (added through marriage...our children's spouses) a granddaughter and two grandsons. I love to create artwork and share with my friends.
