North Georgia Mountains

Above is a photo of my parents (center couple) and a couple we know from church. The gentleman on the right is retired from the Coast Guard and he makes wonderful hiking sticks and walking sticks. He is finishing a hiking stick for me that I plan on taking on my trip this summer. He always adds one of his sailor's knots on the walking sticks.

We walked to this beautiful waterfall with them and their black lab, Daisy. If we could all have the positive attitude and energy of Daisy, I think the world would be a better place!

Speaking of dogs, above is a sheep dog doing his job at the vineyard we also visited. I think I have shared photos I took at the vineyard across from our church building. This vineyard is located in a beautiful valley.
Quite peaceful! We will be spending the Memorial Day weekend up at the cabin. Allison and her husband are coming. They will be celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary that weekend! Time sure does fly!

Well happy anniversary Janlynn! You were married just before me. We were married June 19, 1976. Hope you had a great one!

I know those beautiful people at the waterfall! Those are my grandparents. Doris Fry is my grandmother and suggested I come find your blog. I dabble in photography and love to stamp (create cards/gifts) myself. I'm enjoying what I've seen so far.
