A Genesis Trimmer for Christmas!

My daughter told me that she wanted a good paper trimmer this year for Christmas...now she meant something from a craft store, as all she had was a little Fiskars trimmer, that cuts crooked. She likes to make cards and she is also a school teacher.

I decided to get her the best trimmer, as she is one of the best daughters you could have! I got her a twelve inch Genesis. I don't know why I didn't take a photo once she opened it but that is what is inside the box. I have a twelve inch that I carry around with me wherever I go in the house or on the road. I have a larger one that stays in one place that has a light on it. I used hers at the cabin for projects I was working on and I think I might need one to keep there too! :-)

Allison is on jury duty this week and has been sequestered, so I can't talk to her. I was having Allison withdrawals so please indulge me with this post.

But, if you want to give someone (that includes YOU) a very cool gift, the Genesis trimmer is my number uno tool in my vast collection. I have had my first one since 2000!

Oh how I wish you had taken a picture...she certainly looks surprised!!! Guess I will have to go on-line and check it out...I've never seen one. I have a Tonic small as well as the 12 inch guillotine and love them, as well as the Tonic pull blades...the small and the 12 inch. My new Making Memories rotary is up for sale as it is in the closet...I prefer the Tonic. Can't imagine a better cutter???? Will check yours out as I'm curious now!

Well, I was coming here to tell you that you are a GREAT MOM, however I saw Jason's post. tsk! tsk! Sounds like you play favorites with your children and Jason is on the losing end of this one. So happy for Allison, except that jury duty stuff. Maybe let Jason play with your iphone and listen to the animal ringtones?! NO idea how to convince that little girl to give up on your phone. Good Luck with that!

LOL! Hey, Jason got one of those stars made up of twenty dollar bills...he can buy what he wants and I don't think it will be a paper trimmer. He works for Verizon Wireless, so my iPhone is something he gives me a hard time about...I am constantly reminded of the commercials about maps and told about Verizon's coverage! I think it is just phone envy though! The trimmer envy isn't real, though. Thanks for your concern, Nise.
