Winter Covered Bridge

This is an image from Serendipity that I used Copics on, airbrushing the sky. Sometimes large images like this one are so large that it would take a very large card to use the image and the verse on the front of the card. Of course, you could use the verse inside, but I decided to layer the verse over the image. The portion of the image (the road) that the verse covers is not important, so I think it works out well. I was using a cling stamp, so I could see through the acrylic mount where I was placing the verse. If you are using a wood mounted stamp, I really suggest you use an EK Success Stamp a ma jig stamp positioner. In my opinion, it is the best one out there!

To add to the rustic look, I stamped the snowflakes on the card using bleach as the ink. I also embossed the layer under the image to add some dimension without pulling out the foam tape.
