Yesterday's caterpillar becomes today's butterfly!

If you saw yesterday's post, you were probably appalled at what a messy project this was. Yes, I should have worn gloves. But just as a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, my shrink plastic creations are now beautiful jewelry to go with my new blouse (shown in the background). That is what is so great about making your own jewelry....you can make it match an outfit! Hey, I even have fingers to match! LOL
I am also making a bracelet with the butterflies, connecting them with jump rings and alternating the direction of the butterfly. All my beading supplies are up at the cabin, so I need to go pick up a closure for it.
The vein look was added with a background stamp and Stazon ink, over the Copic inks. The silver Krylon pen around the edge gives the pieces a very expensive look.
Let me know what you think!

I think your pieces of shrink plastic came out fantastic..It looks so real and is so colorful and your right the silver touch around the edges makes it look expensive and the texture stamp with stays on ink is fantastic..
