Floral Closeups

April is a beautiful time at the cabin. We have a lot of varieties of daffodils planted there and they put on quite a show.

A dark background always shows off the shape of a flower and sunlight brings out the sparkle in the petals.

Also beautiful are the native plants like trillium and violets.
Spring is just such a beautiful season! It is matched only by autumn for beautiful colors.

Absolutely LOVE these flower pictures. I like to have the dark background too because it shows of the blooms so well. I have done several of my light colored iris with a dark background.
