Reflect on this....using reflections in photographs

Shiny surfaces reflect things....the surface can be smooth water, polished marble, a glass window, metal or mirror. You can use shiny surfaces to create neat effects in your photographs. Sometimes you might show a mirror image as above or just the reflection, as on the Vietnam Wall below.

Get both sides of the bride by placing her in front of a mirror or add interest by doing closeups on a silver tray.
Reflect on ways you can use the shiny things around you to your advantage. Shiny surfaces can also cause you problems as they will reflect light, so be careful with those flashes!
