Each year we stay at the King and Prince (above). It was built in the mid 1930's and during WWII, served as a naval facility. At high tide, the water comes up to the top of the rocks you see in the photo.
Live oak trees are shaped by the blowing winds and I always think they are so pretty with the fern growing on the branches.
Above the terns are taking flight while below, the gulls are keeping an eye on me as they sit on the pier.
I love the Georgia coast as it reminds me of home....Jacksonville, FL just south of this area. Hope you have enjoyed joining me on this little trip!
I enjoy papercrafting, scrapbooking, photography, travel and sewing. My latest hobby is knitting. I have been married for 37 years to my college sweetheart and we have two grown children, two more children (added through marriage...our children's spouses) a granddaughter and two grandsons. I love to create artwork and share with my friends.
