CrafT Products

One of my first purchases as a stamper was a set of metallic rub-ons as shown in the photo above. These things last forever and are so good for distressing or showing off embossing. They are one of my favorite tools and the price of them is so reasonable. Each little pot lasts so long! They don't like hot cars but are still usable if they get too hot, just misshapened.
I liked the product so much that I got to know Dennis, who owned the company. I would talk to him at trade shows and would take him some samples just because I loved the product. I never charged him a penny. I was concerned when I didn't see him for the last while, so when I saw that Bonnie carries them I asked her about them and she told me that a friend of ours had bought the company! You might have seen design work by Carolyn Hurst or taken one of her classes. Her sister, Ellen, also a stamper, bought CrafT!
Well I saw them at CHA this week and it was sooooo good to see both of them! Looks like a couple of new colors have been added above as I don't remember those blue or teal colors. Can't wait to get my fingers in them! I have some great new EK Success edger punches that include embossing that I will demonstrate with the metallic rub-ons.

Ellen has also come up with some beautiful colors for the chalks and very cool names, as you can see!

Coloring is one of the things I love doing and I often do watercolor or markers. My other favorite medium is chalks. I do a lot of post cards that we send out at church. I can airbrush with markers on the postcards but I can't color with them as they will bleed through. Some card stock will warp if you do watercolor on them and it can be a little time consuming. One of the fastest ways to add some color is with chalk! You get a nice soft look and you don't have to be too meticulous with them. I colored all these postcards so quickly!!! It is the perfect medium for simple postcards but will also work great for more detailed cards. I also love using chalk on shrink plastic.

Isn't that chipmunk just the cutest little fellow? Both of those stamps are from Serendipity. They also have a skunk image with a saying as well as a latte image with a saying. I will post examples of those soon when I get a chance to play with them.

Well, I hope Dennis is enjoying his retirement up in Minnesota! I miss seeing him but now I don't have to miss the great CrafT products!!!
