Holiday Invitations

The holidays will be here before you know it! I am working on invitations for a customer for their holiday party. The theme is victorian with burgandy, cream and gold being used.
Here are some designs I came up with....thought I would share them with you. (Just in case you wondered if I ever stay home!)
Splitcoast has a tutorial for using the Spellbinders die above to create an ornament. Becca Feeken introduced this on the Spellbinders blog reveal. It is easier than it looks if you view the tutorial! The embossing folder on the burgandy is from Sizzix.
The burgandy ribbon does actually match the paper I used though it doesn't look like it in this photo. Picked this stamp up at the Archivers Hot Spot.
Above is the Tapestry JOY set and Serendipity above and below.
This is a wide Martha Stewart ribbon used above with Anna Griffin stamps....I think this is the one she is going with.
Wow, I better get going on my Christmas cards for this year!

OOH! These are all so beautiful. I do believe I like the last one best for it's simple elegance, though. What is the background paper for the 2nd one?? It made me think of old linen or is it just your amazing photography? Hey, did your ears ring yesterday? I had to tell my dear friend, Bill, about the confederate daisies. His paternal Grandfather was a general in the War between the States and he was born in Virginia and loves history, so southern stuff comes up often with him. Thanks for giving me something new to impress him with! And, sweetie, you just put whatever pleases your creative soul on here. I'll keep popping by to peek over your shoulder.

Thanks Becky and Nise.
Nise, that paper is Curious Metallics, Gold Leaf. It is what the medallion is cut from on the first one and used as a mat for the last one. With metallics, it just depends how the light hits then as to what they show up like in the photograph. Sounds like I would get along with Bill. I love history too. So much that my daughter now teaches high school history in Memphis.
