Spiral Eye Needle!

Here is another booth I visited at CHA. The name of the company is Spiral Eye Needles and she was a new vendor. She won an Innovations award so she must have impressed the judges just as she did me.

I love to do stitching on my cards as well as embroidery, but the hardest part is threading the needle! (ok...I know I am getting old!)
She is holding a giant version of the Spiral Eye needle to show how it works. It has an opening on the side of the eye, making it easy to thread and capable of being used to capture snags and stray threads for easy repairs. The design prevents the thread from coming back out. The only other open eye hand sewing needle was invented in the mid 1800's and it has the opening at the top. It is called a calyx eye. The needles are made of stainless steel and they won't snap in the middle of a difficult project!

This is another product that I am going to recommend to my friend Beverly! Check it out at the website....they come in different sizes!
