Home from CHA

They say it never rains in Southern California....but don't believe it! It was raining when I arrived in San Ana and went to the Convention Center in Anaheim. It was even a little chilly. Well, my friend from Minnesota, Heidi, did not think it was so cold considering it was four degrees where she lives, but it was colder than last year.
This was my third trip to this convention center in the last year, so I am getting to where I know my way around! The summer show will be in Orlando at the end of July and a consumer show will follow. That show is moving from Rosemont (Chicago area). I love Chicago and always enjoyed jumping on the train and going in to Chicago on my visits to CHA Summer, so I am kind of sad it is leaving and moving south. Orlando in July is rather humid. I was there at the Donna Dewberry workshop with Copic last July and you either want to be inside or at the pool!
Here is the Spellbinders booth with all the girls in pink. I was working this show for Spellbinders as this Design Team year winds up. I was on their original 2005 DT as well as the 2008 DT and will always love Spellbinders and their products. Time is about to run out for the 2009 DT contest, so go to their website and get your projects in if you are interested. I will show you more of the new stuff at the Spellbinders booth on another post.
Here is a portion of the EK Success Brands booth, the biggest at the show. EK Success Brands includes the EK Success tools, K & Company, Inkadinkado, Martha Stewart Crafts, Perler, Dimensions, Jolee's and even more. I have been doing projects for Inkadinkado for almost two years now, and will be doing more for several of the afore mentioned brands this year. I will tell you more about the new products there too. I am very excited about all of them!

The flight home Wednesday was very quick (three hours, twenty minutes compared to four and a half going) due to tail winds from the storm that was blanketing most of the country. As soon as we were over Oklahoma, you could see a blanket of clouds that continued until almost Atlanta. I am sure that the trip home for many of my friends from Cleveland to NJ was not as pleasant as mine due to the conditions they were facing at home. Hope you enjoyed this little overview....I have several smaller vendors I want to tell you about in additon to the new things at Spellbinders and EK Success in upcoming posts, so stay tuned.
