Easy Ornanaments

Here are a couple of ornaments I made using a Sizzix Bigs die in my Wizard. I used K & Company paper and rhinestones. The lower ornament was painted with Martha Stewart's glittering glue and then fine crystal glitter applies, so it is much prettier in real life. Before glittering, I ran a Krylon pen along the edges (would have been better to do that before putting it together) for a nice finishing edge.

I like that these are very classic in design and that they make a three dimensional ornament. Because they are steel cut die, you can do much heavier materials than with low profile or chemically etched die. This scrapbook paper cut easily with more than one sheet in at a time. I had to have two different stars and two different snowflakes too! I just used the snowflake on a bulletin board at church. I am happy the die fit in my Wizard as my Wizard is always beside me!

Wow, love them - now that has convinced me to use Sizzix in my Wizard - thanks.
