Give Thanks!

Saturday, on World Card Making Day, I decided to get my Thanksgiving cards done. I sorta had an idea what I wanted to do for Halloween, but this was what I wanted to work on Saturday. I made 23 of these. I used my Wizard and a square nestability to cut an opening in scrapbook paper and then positioned a piece of ribbon behind the opening. This roll of ribbon has 55 yards on it and I think I used one whole yard for these 23 cards!!! I just thought the copper leaf had a lot of "wow" and was easier than doing it myself. These were mounted on an A2 card with copper twine wrapped around before adhering it. I added eyelets in the corners and a rhinestone on the twine bow.

For the inside I stamped and embossed "Give Thanks" using embossing powder from
Sparkle N Sprinkle. Not all embossing powders are created equal and I just love Margaret's EP and glitters!!! I think they are the best out there. I stamped a fall leaf image over the message, decorated the envelopes a little and they are ready to address. The Halloween cards will go with me to the cabin to be completed.
