A Merry Village

During the holidays, I love the villages many people have for decorations....even better I love the little German villages I saw along the Rhine River from the train last summer. I can just imagine how pretty those would be during the winter.

These Serendipity Stamps may be as close as I get to a German Village, but I still enjoy imagining. I used Copic markers and the airbrush feature to color the village that had been stamped and diecut with Spellbinders nestability. I added glitter to shine as the snow would in the sunlight. For my background, I used white core paper in red and put it through the Wizard with the snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder. I sanded the high spots to show off the white snowflakes. I had to piece two pieces as the folder was not long enough for the village, so I placed the ribbon over the seam.

The verse was stamped and embossed on some pretty glitter paper and it was all mounted on a white card. I added random snowflake eyelets. This would make a great "non religious" holiday card.
