Scalloped Heart
Rhinestones are a favorite embellishment of mine...these are K & Company, as is the decorative paper. The stamps are Serendipity, border is Martha Stewart (came out before Valentines Day) and the scalloped heart is Spellbinders. This is another example of painting to match the paper.
I am leaving today to fly to Jacksonville, FL (my hometown) for my nephew's wedding. I am doing the photography, so I hope all goes well with that. I will post some cards before I leave to come up while I am gone, but there might be a couple of days without a post. Hope everyone has a safe and great holiday weekend!

Get Well Daisy
I used the same rustic paper for this Get Well card as the barn. This daisy was done with watercolor crayons....I guess it is really some type of sunflower rather than a daisy. I love this Martha Stewart border punch. It is one of my favorites! I used EK Success Curvy Cutter for cutting the ovals.....I really like using those and my Coluzzles are feeling a little ignored now that I have discovered these great tools. I have it in circles, ovals and rounded squares. There is one where you can do different shapes, but I have only seen that one once.
