Sometimes it is just fun to do crazy thing with your camera, like faking holding up a monument or something. Above, my sister is holding up the Alaskan pipeline last summer...yes, it was a very cold and nasty day! It was our last full day there and it was dipping into the 30's in the summer time!
Above, my parents are trying to straighten the leaning tower of Pisa and below, my friend Becka is touching the top of the Eiffel Tower.
I took photos of my husband holding up the Washington Monument, but he was not very patient with my instructions, so it did not work out so great. As the photographer you have to move around to get the shot to look right, but you need cooperation from the subject too. He did just fine standing in the handout line at the FDR Memorial though....
Some might think these type of photos are silly, but I think they are kind of fun!
I enjoy papercrafting, scrapbooking, photography, travel and sewing. My latest hobby is knitting. I have been married for 37 years to my college sweetheart and we have two grown children, two more children (added through marriage...our children's spouses) a granddaughter and two grandsons. I love to create artwork and share with my friends.
