Flower Carpet

The last two weeks of August, at the Biltmore Estate they have a Flower Carpet out from the library. I did not get to go last year, so I wanted to make sure I was able to see it this year. The overall pattern is taken from the Fleur d lis on the columns.

I sneaked a photo from the window in the house with my new Canon Elph as you can see the pattern much better from higher up.

Don't worry, I have more photos to share....even the walled garden was lovely, even in August. August in the south isn't always the kindest month, for those you you that don't live here.
