With Love

This is a card I recently made using Spellbinders die templates, Just Rite stamps and K & Company paper ribbon. I used the inverted scalloped circle as a base to do spirelli. Spirelli is easy to do. You just need a diecut that has a place on which to hook the string and then alternate your looping at the same interval as you go around. The more hooks you skip, the further into the center of the diecut your design will go....the less, the more it will hug the perimeter as on this example. I thought this background paper just called for spirelli! Spellbinders die templates and Just Rite stamps work so well together.

The "With Love" and the heart border from Just Rite are just great. If you haven't tried K & Company paper ribbon, you really should buy some and try it. This is from the valentine collection, but I love the white paper ribbon K & Company has as you can color it with ink and make it whatever color you need. K & Company also makes great rhinestones, one of which I used in the center of the Spirelli.

Valentine's Day will be here soon!

Well now Holly, since you don't mention the paper mfg., I'm wondering if it is a "Kaleidoscope Kreator" image you made the paper with??? Really unusual paper, but it certainly works with your project! Thanks for sharing,
Jan

Jan, sorry about that...it is Basic Grey, Infuse. But I LOVE your idea of using a Kal Collections creation for spirelli.....I am going to have to do that! Thanks for the idea!
