Yesterday, I featured the front of this card, but the surprise is when you open the card and a "cake" pops up. Well, it kind of looked like a cake to me, so I put a candle on it....hey, wouldn't it be cute to do a cupcake this way??? Simple pop ups like this are so easy to do. The card just needs to have two layers so that the inside one can be cut to make your step. You could just add a step, but it looks better if it comes from the card liner.
I thought this stamp (Inkadinkado) resembled a cake top so I used nestabilities to cut it out. And guess whose first birthday it is......(you KNEW I would get around to this!!!) Happy Birthday
