Stamp Club December Meeting

Another Holiday tradition I look forward to is our Stamp Club December meeting. We usually meet at Binders Art Store in Atlanta (second Saturday of each month), but in December, one of the members will open up her home and we each bring brunch goodies and a wrapped handmade gift. We choose numbers and those with low numbers get to choose first. Though we normally concentrate on stamping projects, for this you can make anything you want, so we have ceramics, sewing projects, papercrafting....even baked goods. It is great fun! I chose the bird container above that Allison made. I told her that it would look great with the lamp I just found at Goodwill so I included that in the photo. Allison took handmade paper and used gel medium to adhere the paper to the glass container. She added the bird stickers. Can't you just see the container sitting next to the lamp with colored pencils and brushes in it? It is a great opportunity to learn more about each other and we usually pick out some projects we want to all try the next year.

Thanks for looking and if you live in the Atlanta area, come join us! We have a great group and a lot of fun!
