Rustic greeting

A blanket of snow can make rural scenes appear so peaceful. I love barns any time of the year, but snow can cover a lot of clay and mud and make everything so pretty. I tried to give the look of ice in the trees, but I think it looks better in real life. For the greeting, I tore the white paper to give the look of a bank of snow. The Serendipity barn image was colored with Copic markers and I used the colorless blender to try to give the look of aged wood where the red paint has long faded or worn off. I scored the white core paper on the card with the Scor-it and sanded it to carry over the rustic look.
