Sunrise in Venice

These sunrise shots might not be as colorful as the ones I took at St.Simon's Island, but they are still pretty...and you can't beat the scenes at Venice! I love the colors in the sky.

The colorful buildings look even more vibrant in soft morning light. You would think that bright sunlight would do that, but it actually washes out some of the color and is much more harsh. Any softening of the edges were done on Picasa.

I used this photo as my wallpaper on my MacBookPro that was stolen :-( My new one has Mt. McKinley, another early morning shot....but like I said, who knows when sunrise occurs in Alaska?). Found more sunset shots in Venice I will share next.
