Using Crayola Model Magic to create Card Embellishments

I shared some creations I made last week with Creative PaperClay, so this week I thought I would show you some I made with Crayola Model Magic. In the past I have played with this product and made little snowmen and ice cream sundaes....too much fun! This week, I played with them with brass stencils, stamps, fondant molds and free hand! It comes in different colors and air dries. It can then be colored or painted if desired.

Above is an example of using Model Magic with a brass stencil. Below, are some monkey picks for cupcakes and a candle holder for Clayton's first birthday party....it is hard to believe he is already turning a year old!! I am sure there will be a post in the future showing the invitation and decorations!

The "sea biscuit" was made with the shell stamp I showed you last week from Sparkle N Sprinkle. These are so lightweight and flexible!
I decided to try a Wilton Fondant Mold with the Model Magic and it worked great!

Dreamweaver Stencils makes some great brass stencils and here is one I had in my stash. I store my stencils in baseball card protectors and page protectors in a loose leaf notebook. I am not sure if Lynell still has this particular stencil or not, but I do know she has one with just the feet. One great thing about stencils are that they last forever, don't take much room and they are so versatile! I am working on a class called "Stencil it In!" as I am such a fan!
Here are some of the finished cards I made with the pieces I made....

The Baby Boy and Baby Girl stamps are from Serendipity while the crochet design on the girl card is from Our Daily Bread.

Jason and Jessica are expecting a little girl in November, so I can do pink now! Jackson will be turning two in October...they grow up so quickly!

I hope you enjoyed seeing these embellishments made with Crayola Model Magic!

Congratulations Holly....little girls are very special! Little boys are too but there is just something about a granddaughter. I'm a little behind in my commenting....I've been taking a break from blogging & crafting but am ready to jump back in with both feet. Can't wait to see pictures of the baby girl when she gets here!
