Come to the Garden
I thought I should let you see into the card....and the garden. Some of you visited my garden party last July (if you didn't you should look back on it.....it was the first Spellbinders Blog Frenzy). I made a rock path that goes through the garden and moss grows like a carpet. The ferns are so lush in the summer. In March the daffodils will be popping up, then the irises and then the mountain laurel in May. The hydrangeas (some of the prettiest I have ever seen, other than in France) will bloom all summer. The rhododendron will bloom late June, early July and then Joe Pye Weed in August. Then the leaves begin their beautiful changes....sorry, but I thought all of you presently covered in snow, might need of lovely reminder of the look of things blooming!
This year, I am planting more astilbe as the butterflies love it and it does very well up at the cabin.
Use your photos in your cards....that is the moral of this story!

Wonderful garden photos, Holly. I have used copies of photos in my cards from the antique pink roses on vellum to the farm my mother's family had in sepia tones. I even took pictures of a bag my cousin Monica wove for me on vacation in Florida and made her a quad-fold card of its "travels". I think of the cards made with pictures as mini memory books.
Oh, Holly, you are amazing -- I enjoy looking at your creations so much!
