You can find directions to do this and many fun things on the web or on Youtube videos....I have so much fun looking at stuff! Anyway, I colored the fireplace image with my Copics and added a little Martha glitter. Folded the boots and hung them on the mantel!
The front of the card is my kaleidoscope I made with my quilt cards and I cut the opening with a nestability. Aren't tools and stamping things just so much fun! I added the half pearls with my EK Success Tweezer Bee (those would make a great stocking stuff for a stamper or scrapper...they run around $8)
Here are the elves boots after a long year of making lots of toys and stamping tools :-) Had to get that plug in!
For next year, I have already decided to do a puffed origami money star for the top of a tree like this one I made last year.
The tree is mounted on a Spellbinders nestabililty....and by the way, Spellbinders has announced the contest for a new Design Team. Just click on the Spellbinders DT blinkie I have on my sidebar and it will take you directly to the blog where you can learn all the details! Good luck if you enter!
Now, let me think.....what will I fold my money as in 2010.....that is if we still have any money!!!Can't think about that now.....as Scarlet would say, I will worry about that tomorrow!

Holly,
Those elf boots are so cute. You have one of the most creative bugs in you I have ever seen. (does that sound right?) Thank you for all the inspiration.
oh where did you find the pattern to fold these little booties? Darling!
Hheehheeee -- those are darling! Feel free to send me some!
Can you believe I opened the Sunday paper today and saw and ad with my elf boots!!! I couldn't believe it. I have never seen anyone make these other than the guy who wrote the instructions...of course, I am sure many have made them, but I was surprised to see some in an ad!
It took me 20 minutes to unfold the boot--I was afraid I'd rip it. I think it will spend fine though.... :)
